2017 audi a4 2.0t quattro, moonlight blue, black, gray oak, prestige, sport, warm, cold, driver assist, adaptive suspension. Had my 2009 a3 just over a week now & only tried the aux port with my ipod today, it won't work, all i get is hissing through the speakers & aux ext input across the display, tried this with 2 types of aux cable. Second generation multimedia interface can be found in audi a4, a5, a6, a8 and q7. My 2009 a4 has the ami, and the sticker said that it has aux in as well. Is that for ipods or mp3 players only? Does anyone have the bluetooth adapter below ? Audi ipod iphone aux & usb adapter specialists with 10 years plus experience. I want to put aux imput in my audi a6 2007.
It seems that ii+ handles aux, and ii does not. Recently i set out to add an aux adapter to my concert 2+ and without relying on i did the wiring by cutting one end off a normal 1/8th to 1/8th stereo cable after all that, i can click cd twice on the radio and get to the aux input! The cars do not have an audio input like aux or usb. It seems that the ipod connectivity is optional and only in the glove box.
