Thanks for letting me know where the fuse box in my 98 a4 was.but does anyone have the diagram? The fuse box will be visible as shown below. My wind screen wipers just stopped working, and i have no idea which fuse. Newer ones (b8, for example) have them in the luggage compartment/cargo area, usually in front of the right rear light:
