.it hits the 3k rpm and thats it engine wont rev past and it feels like it has a rev see if you can get above 3000 rpm and look for back spitting. Obd2 gsr dizzy with obd1 jumper the car wont rev past 3k but i have no check engine light untill car starts to kill the ignition at 3k then it flashes and stays on and what not. 94 s10 4.3 wont start 2 answers. It doesn't like anything over 3000 rpm and the higher you go , the worse it seems to misfire. Plugs wires cap fuel battery and alternator are all good. Fixed now swapped the pins over in the x20 plug so pin 9 met with 14 on the c101 runs like a dream.
